Oh, And About That Picture
Yes, that's me. I'm in an ice pocket inside a glacier on Antarctica, the most interesting place Mariquita and I have ever been, and I think the most interesting place on earth. We were there last winter with a great tour company called Adventure Network and had the trip of a lifetime.
And yes, the picture does have something to do with the theme of the blog, You're Only a First Time CEO Once. :-)
This is the first blog message I received, after the initial one. Verrrry intellesting. I won't claim credit if you're a good boss--you can keep that for yourself. The more technical thoughts were interesting--if this gets widely read, it's some good marketing. And I'm wildly in agreement with your thoughts on "Who's the Boss"; they could have been written verbatim by another CEO you know reasonably well.
Keep 'em in the short grass, especially in the next few days.

This was a technique that was previously only used by brokerage and trading companies. With mark to market accounting.
